Recording your screen with RecordJoy

RecordJoy is a powerful, free tool that allows anyone using the Chrome browser (Mac or PC) to record their screen. The best part is that there are no downloads required either. All you have to do is click record! You can also choose to add audio and/or video from your webcam.

To get started, go to www.recordjoy.com, and click on the “Start Screen Recording” button.

You’ll then be prompted to select whether you want to share your entire screen, a window, or just a tab.

Once you select “Share” RecordJoy will begin recording your screen. You can then navigate to whatever you intend to record…whether it’s a PowerPoint, a website demo, etc.

When you are finished recording, go back to RecordJoy and hit Stop Recording.

You will then be given the option to edit your recording if needed. Otherwise, you can download your recording, or save it and generate a share link to send out.

If you choose to upload and generate a share link, anyone you share the link with will be able to view your recording. However, you can also set a password to view your recording if you need some added security.

Your recording can be viewed a maximum of 50 times before it is automatically removed.
